Proposal Assistant/Production Artist Under the direction of the Manager of Culinary Arts, the Proposal Assistant/Production Artist is responsible for creating proposals in response to solicitations from corporate businesses seeking a food service provider. In this position, the Proposal Assistant/Production Artist will coordinate and incorporate written responses from the appropriate Sales Director into the final proposal. Additional responsibilities include the following: Identify appropriate content and customize as necessary to meet request for proposal (RFP) specifications.Perform initial edits of proposal.Ensure full compliance with RFP requirements.Gather supporting materials from past proposals and other sources for incorporation into proposals.Create Menus according to pre-approved menu templates using new menu items provided by the Sales Director or the Merchandising & Standards Manager.Draw plans or schematics for restaurant or kitchen layouts.Create Proposal Dividers according to pre-designed templates.Maintain RFP and proposal archive.Maintain a schedule of proposals.Ensure that the proposal paper is always in good supply, when necessary order additional paper.Maintain printer toner supplies and make service calls when necessary.Assist with the overflow of jobs from Culinary Arts when time permits.
