• Prepare all relevant materials(reservation confirmation, key, vouchers, etc)at one pocket file before guest arrival
• Assign rooms for arriving guests. Pay attention to repeated guests with special requests
• Be familiar with all room types and rates in the hotel and their statue availability
• Deal with guest including complaints promptly and report to fo supervisor and residential manager for further follow up
• Fully understand to all credit procedures and accounting procedures as they apply to the registration process
• Handle of cash float and hand over to next shift accurately. Handle the foreign currency exchange
• Post all charges, update the folios and post the advance deposit
• Check that guest bill is correctly charge and settled to the proper account (cash, credit card, voucher, room charge)
• Check the credit card for payment, in terms of obtaining authorization and procedures
• Handle all mails, messages, packages, gifts and other items for guests
• Get as many as guest feedback to develop the hotel service
• Ensure registration cards and online system are accurately completed
• Be able to operate the computer system and maintain computer discipline at all times
• Work closely with the housekeeping department
• Inform housekeeping of early check in, late check-out and any requests from guests
• Make the library books rent record and handle books of library
• Record all the received vouchers to check with guest reservation
• Handle the telephone operator
• Recommend selling tours to guests base on contracted (we don’t have any contracted tour agency now, July of 2014)
