> Position: Merchandiser (La Miniatura)
Responsibilities:
- For Development:
• Receive documents and Tech Pack
• Check the new fabric development with customer
• Work directly with fabric suppliers on price sample yardage, bulk production fabric and delivery details
• Prepare all the materials as customer requestion (negotiate the price directly with supplier)
• Create costing sheets & follow up with revision whenever changes are made under manager’s approving before making quotes to customers
• Work with Technical & pattern department under customer information under manager’s monitor.
• Make sure about sample delivery date
- For Production:
• Follow up with mills to ensure lab dips are approved on time
• Ensure fabrics are delivered on time to meet production deadline
• Order all materials
• Ensure fabric, trims…details are correct before production.
• Follow up test report of fabric (ex.: shade band, shrinkage), garment & trims and make sure the bulk quality meets customer quality standard.
• Work with customer, garment technician and factories to make sure the PP samples are approved in time to hit production deadline
• After PP sample approving, review practicality of sewing constructions on sample with Tech Team, QA
• Coordinate Pre-production meeting with technician QC and factories to minimize problem ahead of production.
• Solves problems from factory if have
• Update pending orders and generate WIP as needed
• Coordinate with Q.C. & factories for production status & provide updated WIP to customers
• Work with factories to submit TOP samples to get approval before shipping (2 weeks)
• Create packing list and invoice for shipping department
