+ Job description:
To work as part of a team to develop the design from starting point through to built reality, for projects across Asia.
• Communicate with supplier to find Furniture, Fixtures and equipment for projects.
• Work closely with suppliers, vendors, manufacturers, advisors and client
• Selecting, customising and purchasing of high-end furniture, fabrics, bed linen, light fixtures, hardware, accessories, tableware and cutlery, sanitary equipment.
• Design Carpet in hotel projects.
• To visualize design ideas in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketch-up, Illustrator, physical model and/or other suitable media.
• Management system FF & E of all projects.
• Research via Internet, magazine, books etc. for relevant information needed for a project.
• Produce detail drawings for production of the interiors.
• Create full preliminary line item budgets and finishes schedules for all areas for submission to the client.
• Establish Mood boards.
• Production of full FF&E presentation boards, specifications, schedules and finishes for client presentation.
v Skills:
• In order to be considered for this role, the successful candidate should possess the following skills and attributes:
• Solid experience in AutoCAD and Photoshop.
• Concept design skills.
• Good understanding of operational requirements, which has been gained through exposure to many hotel operators.
• Collecting and providing designers with images, catalogues information, quotations, materials samples and specifications as per their request for the project
• Initiative and strong design interest, to help current design team.
• Interest in hospitality design.
• Should be self-motivated and able to grasp new concepts quickly.
• Strong sensence, reliability and responsibility are a must.
• Some experieof colors/materials and atmosphere.
• Making material sample board
• Flexibility, dilignce with Sketch-up and Illustrator would help but is not essential
• Good written and oral communication skills (English).
• General knowledge of modern office practices, PC operations and software.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team
