Working for Pöyry Energy from Switzerland, consulting for Mong Duong Coal fired Power Plant Project 2x500 MW
Main Project feature:
The Mong Duong Coal Power Complex project (2,000 – 2,200 MW) to be developed and implemented in Viet Nam consists of two (02) phases. Phase 1 will comprise of 1,000 MW Mong Duong 1 Thermal Power Plant invested by VietNam Electricity (EVN), financed by a loan from the Asian Development Bank’s (ADB’s) ordinary capital resources (OCR) and through EVN self-financing. Phase 2 (Mong Duong 2) with about 1,000 – 1,200 MW of power output will be financed through a BOT agreement.
Total investment capital of 2 billion USD. With circulating fluidized bed technology (CFB) which is the most advanced synchronous equipments at present time.
Position held:
- Senior Electrical engineer (consulting for owner).
- Supervision installation electrical equipments and commissioning
Activities performed:
- Design review electrical system for thermal power plant as below:
+ 500KV Station and switch yard.
+ 110KV Station and switch yard.
+ Transformer.
+ Hight and medium voltage of circuit breaker.
+ Steam turbine Generator, Emergency Diesel Generator.
+ MV and LV motor
+ Lighting, earthing, grounding and lightning protection, cable.....

Worked for An Khanh Coal fired Power Plant Project 2x57,5 MW.
Main Project feature: An Khanh Electricity Joint Stock Company is implementing An Khanh Thermal Power Plant Project I in Dai Tu district, Thai Nguyen province. An Khanh Thermal Power Plant is constructed with capacity of 100MW, total investment capital of 3,000 billion VND. With circulating fluidized bed technology which is the most advanced synchronous equipments at present time. the Power Plant shall be officially generated, connected to the National electricity gridwith 800 million KW hours per year.
An Khanh Thermal Power Plant II with capacity of 300 MW in Pho Yen district, Thai Nguyen province.
Position held:
- Senior project electrical engineer.
Activities performed:
- Made procurement planning.
- Manage tender process including issuing tenders and bid clarifications.
- Design review electrical system for thermal power plant.
- Chief of caculate price of electricity team and negotiation contract sale electricity with EVN.
- Project finance analysis.
- Prepare and negotiate new contract as below:
+ Design of SCADA system and connect from An khanh power plant to A0, A1 agreement.
+ Consultant for project contract.
+ Supervision contraction and installation equipment contract.
+ member of team negotiate EPC contract, credit agreement contract.
- Check and review all conditions, term of EPC contract
- Check calculate total investment capital in advance.

Worked for Cam pha cement project management unit
Main Project feature: VINACONEX., JSC is implementing Cam pha cement project in Cam pha district, Quang ninh province. Cam pha cement project Plant is constructed with capacity of 2.5 million tons/year, total investment capital of 6,000 billion VND. Design and supply electrical system by ABB company from Switzerland. Design and supply electrical system in Mill station by SEIMENS company from Germany. Design and supply rotary kiln and technology by Kawasaky company come from japan. Design and supply Conveyor, feed material system by Fam company come from Germany. . Design and supply package system by Haver&Boecker company come from Germany.
Position held:
- Electrical engineer of project management unit.
- Supervisor installation electrical equipments and commissioning.
- Chief of team operation, repair and maintenance 110KV station and repair and maintenance electrical equipment for line product.
Activities performed:
- Worked as officer in Hanoi office
- Manage tender process including issuing tenders and bid clarifications as below:
