Available in Black, Red and Plum, the L830 comes with 16.0 effective megapixels and a BSI-CMOS sensor. It has 34x optical zoom covering a wide angle from 22.5mm - 765mm (35mm format equivalent) and a 68x Dynamic Fine Zoom* that covers approximately 1530mm (35mm format equivalent). Also, it enables macro shooting from as close as approximately 1cm.
* Dynamic Fine Zoom refers to the areas in which the camera can zoom while maintaining resolution from the maximum optical telephoto zoom position.
The L830 gives you the flexibility to shoot great photos for all occasions. The approximately 921k-dot (RGBW) vari-angle LCD monitor (VGA) enables shooting from various angles. Whether you’re shooting from a child’s eye level or shooting over people’s heads in a crowd, attempting landscapes or close-ups, the L830 delivers with minimum fuss. And all it requires are four standard AA-size batteries.
Stills and movies are now enhanced with a lens-shift and electronic Vibration Reduction (VR) and a 5-axis system.
