Our Ylang Ylang essential oil is 100% pure. An economical source of ylang ylang oil. SOURCE: Steam or water distilled from the flowers of the cananga tree. CHARACTERISTICS: An intensely sweet, almond, floral, tropical top notes and slightly cloying, exotic, woody, balsamic undertones. It blends well with most florals and citruses and also with nutmeg, rosewood, patchouli, clove, vetiver and sandalwood. THERPEUTIC PROPERTIES: Antidepressant, antiseptic, aphrodisiac, hypotensive, sedative. CONTRAINDICATIONS Non-toxic, non-irritant, a few cases of sensitization reported. Use in moderation, since its heady scent can cause headache or nausea.
