The company is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applications without regard to race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, veteran status, disability, genetic information or any other characteristic protected by law.A growing Scottsdale company within the construction industry is looking to add a dynamic individual with experience in construction accounting and contract administration.Job Responsibilities:Contract AdministrationCustomize templates for specific jobs at the start of each job and copy to Company Job DriveEnter in complete contract and subcontract information for our contracted constructions jobs.Disseminate and track all Purchase Orders and Subcontracts, documents flowing into and out of Corporate office, including, but not limited to:Receive from Project Manager/Project Coordinator subcontracts and purchase orders and send to subcontractor for signatureReview for signatures and changes upon return. Highlight changes and forward to PM & Project Coordinator for resolution, then forward to CFO for signaturesTrack In Sage each step of the processFollow up on missing documentation and requirements as neededArchive electronically and hard‐copy all documents and distribute executed originalsConstruction AccountingEnter approved budgets for contracts and subcontractsProcess Pay Applications to our clients on a monthly basis, including entry into Sage/TimberlineDraft all waivers to accompany Pay ApplicationsProcess Subcontractors' pay applications on a monthly basis., including entry into Sage/TimberlineProcess all Change Orders - internal and subcontract - associated with assigned jobs, including entry intoSage/TimberlineProcess all invoices associated with assigned jobs for payment - from entry to check cuttingProvide monthly Job Cost reports to Project Manager and Senior Management - with comprehension as towhere we stand relative to the Job Cost BudgetInterface with Project Manager and Senior Management on all aspects of construction accountingFile all associated documents hard‐copy and electronicallySubcontractor Insurance Certificates:Review for job specific limits to be met, accuracy, limitations and insurabilityVerify that Additional Insured's are correct and endorsements attachedTrack on log and archive on networkFollow up with Subcontractors for changesReview all logs monthly - notify all subcontractors of expiring policies and request new certificatesQualifications:BS in Accounting or 3 yrs comprehensive accounting experience. One year Construction Accounting experienceMicrosoft Office required; Sage/Timberline/Timberscan software experience a plusPositive attitude and a team playerHigh attention to detail, deadline‐oriented, excellent time‐management and interpersonal skills.
