Key tasks of Operations Manager.
A.Inventory control (In and out at sys and physical)
-Root cause analysis and action plan to prevent mistake.
-Fix cycle count and audit team to record actual quantity, quality and location...
-Compare with WMS – inbound and outbound process to find out problem.
-Discuss with data controller to take countermeasure.
-Control all production code (GI – goods inward, GD- goods damage, GQ – goods quarantine)
-Monitor and make sure the inventory of all distributors and healthy, not in shortage of goods.
-Allocate and distribute the good, to make sure appropriate inventory for all warehouse located in the nationwide.
B.Retail Delivery control.
-Request Delivery Managers to check & confirm debts and credits of money/goods = 0 (check and collate the amount collected with delivery reports, check the daily quantity of in-stock goods and pending/cancelled orders).
-Ensure all orders are prepared and delivered to end users in which are met to the deadline and all money from customers are sent to company in the same day of delivering.
C.Distributors’ management & transportation control.
-Using key performance to measure distributors in daily/weekly/monthly operation.
-Using monthly meeting with distributors to additional requirement to improving service level.
-Review and give the sales targets and motivation for distributor.
-Ensure good delivery & after sales services in: delivery time outlook, communication, performance.
-Truck inspection to ensure quality standard.
-Assign truck for daily delivery to customers.
-Ensure just in time delivery.
-Problem solving all issue related to transportation.
-Transportation cost control.
D.KPI Management.
-Using key performance indicator ( KPIs ) to measure the result of operations: Calling, Customer Service, Delivery & Warehouse.
-Assign person in charge of each KPIs to manage/ follow up and taking proper action to ensure good performance.
-Using DMS (daily management system) to ensure daily operation is smoothly with highest capacity.
-Using BOS (behavior observation system) to checking the daily/weekly operation.
-Using sell-improvement program to fix the internal issue and improving operation.
1.Knowledge:
-Educational background in business related field (MBA preferred).
-Male or female 30-40 yrs.
2.Experiences:
-Minimum 10 years relevant operation management experience in a professional organization and especially in DHL, Fedex, TNT or other Foreign Express Enterprises in Vietnam.
3.Skills
-Strong presentation & communication skills with leading orientation.
-Honest, mature, scientific and systematic managements.
4.Abilities
-Fluency in English and Vietnamese language (to be tested).
-Proficient in computer (word, excel, power point).
-Work under high pressure.
