Overall Responsibility

Working as part of a dedicated sales team, the BDE will have his/her own prospect portfolio focused on specific business sectors. BDE will be responsible for developing a sales contact plan, building strategic proposals, responding to RFQ
The Business Development Executive will also leverage personal referral, industry-based and other business community networks to help drive new business opportunities for the firm

Main Responsibilities

Key jobs of Business Development Executive
- Identify potential Key new customers through various media platforms such as publishing, advertising, electronic media, and others and turn this into increased business.
- Generate new leads with the aim of creating more sales.
- Manage accounts and exceed targets relating to revenue growth, activities, and services sales, customer retention and customer acquisition.
- Adhere to all quality standards and processes, for the acquisition of customers, opportunities and submission of tender and contract documents.
- Bid management processing and manage order levels maintaining the CRM database
- Develop effective working relationships with customers through regular meetings and identify and obtain further sales and business development opportunities
- Respond to incoming Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs) in a professional and creative manner
- Understand a prospect’s business needs and work with the expert teams to develop a customize solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Apply Companywide project management standards in preparing bids and contracts, responding to customer needs and managing the sales process from opportunity identification to customer sign off.
- Undertake regular project reviews with all involved in these processes to ensure transfer of knowledge
- Provide regular feedback to senior management about marketplace and competitor activity
