To find out more about us click on the link below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3v7ONJWycc Responsibilities: The Clinical Coding Specialist, (CCS) will conduct chart review for proper diagnosis coding from various chart types, i.e. physician, hospital outpatient, hospital inpatient, etc. to ensure the highest level of diagnosis code was utilized in each date of service reviewed and will document findings in company data storage program. In doing so, the incumbent may have occasional interaction with physician offices or insurance carriers to facilitate clarification and/or training on coding results. The CCS will be responsible for communicating finds, errors and any suggestions to all staff in order to facilitate on-going communication and efficient department operations. He/she may also have occasional special projects which will entail a full coding unit. The CCS must abide by all HIPAA and associated patient confidentiality requirements.
