In doing so, the incumbent may have occasional interaction with physician offices or insurance carriers to facilitate clarification and/or training on coding results. The CCS will be responsible for communicating finds, errors and any suggestions to all staff in order to facilitate on-going communication and efficient department operations. He/she may also have occasional special projects which will entail a full coding unit. The CCS must abide by all HIPAA and associated patient confidentiality requirements.
