Group: MSSClearance Level Needed: SecretShift: DayCategory: Scientific / AnalyticalManTech is seeking an experienced Data Analyst for Program Management Support in a Government acquisition Program Executive Office (PEO). The successful candidate will have experience with a variety of analytical techniques and tools to support program management decisions and trade studies. General responsibilities include: • Gathering, identifying and relating data from multiple sources and information systems to conduct moderately complex logical analyses of management problems, challenges, and information requirements for decision making purposes.• Developing and applying analytical methodologies and principles to include data mining, decision analysis, value chain analysis, multiple criteria utility analysis, probabilistic analysis, large data set analysis, discriminant analysis, cluster analysis, and regression analysis.• Formulating mathematical models of problems to support solution development and assessment of current effectiveness.• Creating statistical/analytical reports and visual representations to communicate status, trends, metrics and leading indicators of program health.• Writing a variety of reports on analytical findings, solution recommendations, or a range of possible alternatives in rank of desirability and probability of success when there are multiple options.• Delivering presentations on analytical findings to support senior leadership program reviews.• Developing training materials and presenting acquisition workforce development training sessions on various analytical tools and techniques. Qualifications: • Requires a Bachelor&s degree (to include courses in statistics, information management, data mining or research methods) in mathematics, operations research, operations analysis, economics, or a related technical or engineering discipline and seven to nine years of related experience. An advanced degree in an analytical field is desired. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project and SharePoint are required. Experience with statistical software tools for the collection, organization, interpretation and presentation of data is required.• Requires a detail-oriented self-starter experienced in supporting senior Government leaders and other technical/business professionals. Other:• This position requires demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making, and excellent oral and written communication skills. The location of this position is Arlington, VA. Clearance: • A current Customs and Border Protection Background Investigation is required.A Secret or higher level clearance and a favorable background investigation conducted within the last five years are highly desired.
