POSITION PURPOSE:    Responsible for the development, execution and maintenance supplier relationship program and communication among departments across organization. Responsible for overseeing, planning, and driving products and services to support the Company’s strategic marketing plan and meet projected revenue goals as needed.  Develops, designs, and implements solutions utilizing new partnerships and current technologies.  Analyzes competitive forces, industry trends, and new technologies. Ensures that project budgets and timelines are met or exceeded.  Keeps Senior Management well informed of marketing operations.  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:  Assumes responsibility for the planning and development of effective marketing strategies and solutions, assists Senior Management in developing short and long-term objectives, goals, and strategies, as well as, provides Senior Management with analyses of marketing strengths and weaknesses to assist in strategic planning decisions. Identifies future applications, services, and consulting programs based upon client and potential client needs, market forces, and competitors’ activities. Designs process and data flow models for future solutions to support ROI and net earnings goals. Reviews existing marketing applications and recommends improvements to meet market demands and competitive conditions. Ensure that plans, goals, and policies are consistent with established Company-wide goals and development activities are cost effective, efficient, and within established budget constraints. Develops business models for current marketing solutions. Identifies new partnerships and works to develop strategic alliances that expand operations and revenue. Provides input in technology development to further applications and services. Ensure marketing operations are productive and result in optimal revenue returns.  Meets project budgets and timelines. Responsible for ensuring professional relations with clients, trade professionals, and external contacts promote a positive image of the Company.  Ensures delivery of products and services exceed client expectations, clients are well informed of operations, and maintains professional relations with competitors and trade contacts. Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with Company personnel and management. Responsible for overseeing and negotiating National & Speciality Plannng, Marketing programs, reporting; i.e.,Supplier-In-Site Program, all maintenance and information associated with this area of the business; Supplier of the Month, Truckload National Promotions, and National Coupon Book Program. Oversee summaries for revenue dollars/results/ads, budget info Negotiate new national exclusive brands/products. Coordinate with Sales Team for special brand promotions, projects and Sales Incentives Oversee research and coordination of ad copy, images, etc. for education material presented in marketing project. Responsible for related duties as required or assigned PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS: Marketing strategies are well coordinated with Company-wide goals and strategic objectives. Marketing applications and services are well administered.  Clients are informed of products and services and complete information is easily accessible on Company websites. The Company’s risk and exposure during interactions is limited.  Corporate information, products, services, and client privacy are carefully protected. Department functions are conducted in accordance with legal requirements and Company procedures and policies. Good communication and coordination exist with outside business contacts and trade professionals.  Strategic alliances are developed as appropriate.  Professional business relations exist with customers.  Services and products are provided timely.  Problems are tracked, researched, and resolved promptly. Effective working relations exist with other departments.  Assistance is provided as needed.
