D&W Fine Pack is one of the largest food-service packaging firms in the United States and operates eleven facilities throughout the U.S.  D&W offers multiple packaging options utilizing various types of plastics and aluminum for merchandising our customer’s food packaging needs. D&W proudly serves the food service, supermarket, food processor, and institutional markets and offers a large product line that includes plastic and aluminum food containers, straws and cutlery. We have an immediate opening for a Financial Reporting Manager at our Corporate Office in Elk Grove Village, IL.  This position will be a key member of our newly reorganized Finance team.   Position Summary: The Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for preparation and distribution of various internal financial statements to management, maintenance of the organization’s general ledger, and ensuring that all transactions and documentation complies with US GAAP and IAS. We are seeking an experienced professional who has worked in manufacturing environments and is looking to help build a strong financial support function.  The ideal candidate will have a high-end skill set and be able to thrive in a very demanding work environment, easily grasp complex problems and develop solutions. Responsibilities will include: Manage the preparation and distribution of internal financial statements and reports, maintaining the highest quality, reliability and accuracy. Manage monthly closing process, including reconciliations and analysis of related accounts. Coordinate the Company's annual audit with the independent auditors. Develop and maintain the integrity of the financial reporting process and financial controls. Coordinate, develop and update written policies and procedures over the financial reporting process. Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting. Research and resolve accounting issues including evaluation and implementation of new accounting pronouncements to ensure US GAAP and IAS compliance.  Communicate and explain accounting issues and evolving accounting guidance to the management team
