Lean Manufacturing Task Force Director

This is a high-profile, demanding position responsible for major problem management.  Extensive travel is required, up to 80%.   Specifically, the Director will be tasked with staying in one location for several weeks to several months until the crisis/incident is fully resolved. The ideal candidate will have a career blended with both operational and lean manufacturing management in transportation (auto, aerospace, avionics, etc), industrial or similar manufacturing industry. Relocation is available for exceptionally qualified candidate. Position Responsibilities: In depth diagnostic of the problem including current state and current risk analysis Formalization of Action Plans analysis including preservation and long term actions Management of problem resolution until it is solved Implements a management analysis of the targeted problem Participating in and leading product/process improvement projects. Process improvements in all disciplines Supporting multiple sites
