Together, we are shaping the future.    POSTION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Are you a sales person with the agility to thrive in a fast changing environment and the creativity to enable a sales team to reach and surpass tough stretch goals? We’re seeking a versatile leader with experience growing and leading Solutions Sales teams in the Retail industry. The primary objective of this position is to lead and drive sales activity resulting in revenue from large & strategic retailers around the Chicago area. Residence in the surrounding area including Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, or Ohio would be considered . If you have experience creating highly complex software, hardware, and consulting solutions for large accounts, have a history of success developing a funnel and selling across multiple offices in the C-Suite, we want to talk to you.   KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY •         Responsible for selling solutions and services to major retailers in the Midwest region. •         Create and own executive relationships across marketing, operations, & IT to ensure full breadth of NCR’s portfolio is leveraged to solve customer business issues •         Understand customer’s business objectives. Be able to tie NCR solutions to their problems ensuring NCR is viewed as a strategic partner to help them meet these goals. •         Develop account plans with measurable time bound goals and objectives •         Develop a strategic roadmap which aligns customer needs, issues, opportunities with industry best practices and our company’s offerings •         Manage the sales process identifying opportunities, managing the funnel & forecast, handling contract negotiations, and driving deployment of solutions. •         Manage engagement of NCR resources into customer base •         Ensure ongoing customer satisfaction during presales and post sales engagements. Communicate efficiently internally and drive cross functional teams to ensure your customer’s success •        Previous successful client management in the retail segment, especially with top tier clients in the department store, drug store, grocery, convenience, fuel, and specialty store segments preferred
