Manufacturing Engineer / Technician Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time Summary To set up, adjust, and maintain assigned equipment with responsibility for production quality and safety on this equipment Program, diagnose, and direct repairs on 7 axis laser cutter, steel roll forming machine, Fanuc Arcmate  robotic welding cells, support equipment such as drilling machines, cranes, chillers, air compressors Ensure assigned equipment is in accordance with manufactured and company specifications Performs complex equipment installation, maintenance and repair work in a timely and orderly manner Identifies and assists in developing preventive maintenance checks and inspection of assigned equipment Analyzes mechanical, electrical, and operational problems on assigned equipment Able to plan for and take corrective action on related problems found Able to maintain maximum production and quality by making correct adjustments Fabricates basic jigs and fixtures including support equipment for production Enter data into computer system according to established procedures and interpret results Maintains adherence to company policies, quality/safety/environmental standards as outlined in roles and responsibilities of ISO 9001/14001/18001 and the GSS integrated management system Attends safety meetings and training and follows all safety guidelines Develop spreadsheets, project timelines, drawings, and presentations to track projects and initiatives Learns new systems and methods when necessary Other duties may be assigned    Work  Schedule:  1st, 2nd, 3rd and rotation shifts 8 -12 hours per shift Overtime might be required
