  Marketing Development Manager Arrow Electronics, Inc.   The Marketing Development Manager is primarily responsible for Arrow's strategic accounts and tier 1 partners and aligns to the strategic sales team.  Responsible for planning, execution, and reporting on partner marketing campaigns, programs and events. This position will engage with partners on an executive level and provide strategic consultation to business planning.  Also collaborates with other marketing team members, sales teams, partners, and third party execution vendors to oversee the execution of solution oriented, specific supplier, or partner marketing campaigns:   Business Acumen: Develops a thorough understanding of Arrow's overall corporate strategy, initiatives, key product lines, and strategic programs. Has a solid understanding of key solution areas and supplier lines products that fit within those solutions. Understands the relationship between Arrow ECS and assigned suppliers and partners. Collaborates with peer marketing team members, partners and sales teams to understand business objectives. Understands market trends, go-to-market strategies, and current business climate.   Marketing Planning: Meets with partners to understand their business, challenges, and goals. Develops a strategic vision and a set of related objectives in conjunction with SAE/PAM and partner team in support of the partner’s goals. Develops a series of tactics in support of the agreed upon marketing objectives that utilize all relevant and available marketing vehicles (i.e., direct mail, email, events, SEO, social media, etc.) Ensures that marketing plans meet the minimum requirements for funding based upon supplier and/or partner requirements and will be able to meet the return on investment (ROI) requirements. Reviews all plans with appropriate stakeholders to ensure alignment and agreement before executing.   Marketing Execution: Works with partner to identify approved third party vendors with the ability to deliver the required results against the agreed upon tactics. Works with partner(s) and third party vendor(s) to create and agree upon the execution plan and timeline. Upon launching the elements of the program(s), acts as the project manager overseeing the execution of the plan. Meets with the partner(s) and third party vendor(s) on a regular basis to ensure the activities are performing as expected and make any necessary corrections.   Marketing Plan Reporting: Provides progress reports to the appropriate stakeholders, including executive teams within Arrow and at the partner, throughout the duration of the plan. At the end of the plan, creates a report that will show individual activity ROI in addition to overall plan ROI. Presents the ROI to the appropriate stakeholders internally at Arrow ECS and also at the partner(s) and/or suppliers. Provides an executive ROI summary to leadership teams. Leverages reporting for and presents at any quarterly business reviews (QBR) or quarterly marketing reviews (QMR). Analyzes the reports based upon the success or failure of certain activities in order to improve future marketing plans. Meet with partner to present recommendations and consult on enhancements for future plans.   Internal and External Partnership: Works closely partners with SAEs/PAMs to provide all marketing-related support and consultation. Engages with executive-level leaders at the partner as the liaison for ECS marketing. Provides partner access to Arrow marketing options, including ECS communications, marketing tools, and other available programs. Acts as an internal expert on assigned partner(s) to Arrow sales team and sales executives.   Supplier Specific Activities: Partners with internal supplier marketing teams to understand available supplier specific co-op or MDF across all relevant lines. Aggregates multiple supplier funding information and presents to partner as a cohesive funding plan. Continues to work with supplier marketing teams to ensure proper approvals, claiming, and ROI reporting of supplier-specific funding. Has a working understanding of key solution areas and is able to obtain relevant supplier content and support for a partner's marketing efforts.  The individual must have the ability to work in a highly matrixed environment. Strong initiative and ability to identify opportunities and independently pursue those opportunities.
