Ref ID: 03200-9754333Classification: Network EngineerCompensation: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per yearJob Responsibilities: Stage and configure network equipment for remote turn up or cut-over based on provided templates and standards Troubleshoot and resolve network infrastructure issues Interface with customer, carriers, and 3rd Party service providers to turn up or cut over sites (in cooperation with the customer) Create and update trouble tickets as required by standard procedures, including: o Investigate and escalate to other engineers and team members, as necessary, in a timely manner o Document incidents to include original issue, action, solution, and root cause analysis Analyze network typologies, traffic and capacity requirements, and otherwise become familiar with the customers network so as to be prepared to assist with issues Little travel is expected unless local; occasional meetings or training in offices in Greensboro, NC Requirements: Experience in configuring Cisco routers, switches, and APs Excellent technical and problem solving skills Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be able to work in a noisy environment Must be able to work with direction, but at times minimal supervision Must be able to act as a liaison between the customer Required Experience Cisco CCNA 3+ Years WAN/LAN Technology experience Cisco CCNP/CCNP Voice/CCNP Security a plus Bachelors Degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications/training or work experience Total 2-4 years of network engineering experience
