The Collections Specialist (Patient Account Representative) performs account follow-up and resolution of patient receivables.  Job tasks and responsibilities include: Monitors insurance claims by running appropriate reports and contacting insurance companies to resolve claims that are not paid in a timely manner Identifies coding or billing problems and works to correct them Works with patients and guarantors to secure payment on outstanding account balances Patient Account Representative – Early Out Do you enjoy helping others?  Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment?   TOG is looking for individuals who truly enjoy helping people understand payment options to address outstanding medical bills.  Our Patient Account Representatives work directly with patients to help resolve outstanding medical accounts by utilizing excellent customer service skills.  Our proven call models help the Reps meet performance goals, achieve acceptable call quality scores and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Prior medical billing & customer service experience a plus.  Heavy phone work involved.  Applicants must successfully pass pre-employment skills testing.
