Well established, Chicago-based student housing real estate company seeks a Project Manager.   The ideal candidate will manage capital renovation and construction projects for higher education student housing and the in-house Multi-Family (student housing) owned and managed assets consistent with business plans, investment strategies and budgets. Frequent travel to project sites and campuses across the country is required.  Responsibilities Include:  Day-to-day collaboration and management of client relationships Physical assessments for development of budget and scope  Project management planning, including identification of critical paths relative to business plan, budget, and resources Develop scope, coordinate bidding, and negotiate pricing and contract terms Coordinate the preparation and execution of contracts in collaboration with in-house colleagues Oversee vendors and contractors to ensure the timeliness and quality of work provided  Generate and update budget and schedule regularly for each project Prepare monthly draw schedule for approval and distribution Write daily, weekly, and/or monthly reports as directed Advise clients regarding products and specifications as needed Participate in business development and marketing to help secure new clients
