Bioassay DevelopmentThis Position requires use of controlled technology. An export license from the U.S. Department of Commerce may be required in order to be employed in this position. The qualified individual will work in a group responsible for the development of veterinary vaccines and other biological products. The candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of biological assays. The candidate will be expected to communicate results effectively in presentation and written reports, and to participate in cross-functional teams.KEY OBJECTIVES/DELIVERABLES:Develop, optimize and implement assays to assess the quantity and biological activity of vaccine, vaccine components, or other biological products.Develop, optimize and validate potency assays for QC release and stability testing to meet future product requirements and corresponding regulatory requirements.Communicate results in presentation and written reports.Coordinate external partners when needed.Assist in identification and evaluation of new bioassay technology.
