We haul gasoline, diesel fuel, ethanol, aviation fuel, soy, propane, and anhydrous ammonia. As the Sales Manager at Solar Transport, this position will be to manage the sales activity of assigned sales territory; build new business by identifying targets and generating new opportunities for growth; generate maximum revenue and profits while operating in an efficient manner; and meet the standards set forth by the company and customers. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.  Assist in maintaining current customer relationships; constructively communicate possible improvements to Customer Service Management, Revenue Assurance, Fleet Management, and other personnel. Work location (remote):  Des Moines, IA - Denver, CO - Kansas City, MO - Chicago, IL - Indianapolis, IN Growth Opportunity Development and Performance Identify sales prospects, sell products and services by establishing contact and developing relationships, create new opportunities for growth within assigned territory, Accountable for the accuracy and integrity of: Prospective Customer Presentations, Service Proposals, and Customer Onboarding Process  Potential Lead, Opportunity, and Account Data Information Management using web based CRM Ensure day-to-day business requirements are met Build relationships with new and existing customer base, proactively search for opportunities that fully maximize Solar capacity Communicate customer commitments Strategic and Operational Planning Develops monthly sales “forecasts" for VP of Sales, Operations, and Recruiting for proper planning. Develops and maintains 90-day plan for sales forecasting Works with VP of Sales and Marketing and peers to establish annual improvement goals, identify improvement projects, and to lead continuous improvement programs. Represent Sales and Marketing team by leading bi-weekly strategic sessions with Operations and Customer Service groups.
