The team is a tight knit smaller team so being able to communicate with them and the folks you'll receive work requirements from will be important. There might be some shell scripting that will come up from time to time but the majority of the work will be PL/SQL development.Below are more details on the requirement.Responsibilities: You will work with application teams to create database access layers, accurately estimate the amount of development effort required to implement new software; Research and recommend new software or software techniques to improve efficiency in the department and the application. Will work with large volumes of data with sub-second response and should be able to apply extensive knowledge of SQL tuning techniques.
