Ref ID: 01020-9745880Classification: Systems AdministratorCompensation: DOESenior Systems Engineer My client a Management Service Provider is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to serve as the last line of support and lead their team by handling the following responsibilities: VMWARE Administration: Installation, Configuration, Administration and Troubleshooting of VMWARE ESXi 5.5, Manage virtualization environment using vCenter Server 5.0, Create and manage Windows Server and Linux virtual machines. Network implementations:Designed and implemented new local network configuration New Networks, upgrade existing networks. Management and troubleshoot Operating Systems such as Windows 2003, 2008 R2, 2012, Exchange Servers 2003, 2007, 2010, 2012, Active Directory, Printer Servers, File Servers, Remote Desktop, Terminal Server Clusters, Blackberry Enterprise, DNS, DHCP. Network: Configured NAT and routing rules in a Cisco ASA Revamped outdated and misconfigured network, Implemented new hardware, networking protocols, and security. Implemented facility-wide WLAN, including secure employee and guest access. Hardware: Upgraded technology infrastructure, including servers, desktops, network printers, UPS and all company devices, such as laptops, cell phones, and tablets. Onsite Support: Provide technical support for all Clients troubleshooting daily requests including new projects and deadlines. Communicate with Tech Support and vendors to diagnose hardware/software failures, monitor and repair servers, switches, LAN/WAN, Internet and Wireless communications. Remote Access: Implemented employee solution that facilitated offsite productivity using secure VPN and VOIP technology. Remote support for international users. Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity: Collaborated with cross-functional management in developing and implementing comprehensive strategies and processes, including offsite facility.
