One of TEKsystems top clients is in need of a Sharepoint Migration Specialist. responsibilities will include Assist teams in identifying all legacy sites, site permissions, last date accessed to help Content Managers and Leads determine what data will migrate to SharePoint 2013 Online.Review plan and assist in recommending, designing and planning site design and migration strategies according to best practices. Manage changes by performing change control procedures to ensure stakeholders are aware of the impact. Engage in constant interaction with project teams and the project manager, gather requirements, translate them into business solutions and provide daily status reports. Build out department/team. Setup, maintain, and monitor user security groups for all sites, making sure they follow corporate standards and governance. Investigate and troubleshoot issues. Log all support calls, issues found and update tickets in our incident tracking tool. Assist IT Support with SharePoint support calls and transition support related tasks to the team as reasonable. Perform the migration from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint Online 2013 using Metalogix Content Matrix tool.
