Information management is at the very heart of the Interior Division, which provides a range of products that includes instrument clusters and multifunctional displays, control units, electronic car-entry systems, tire-monitoring systems, radios, multimedia and navigation systems, climate control systems, telematics solutions and cockpit modules and systems.Overview: Manage several engineers in multiple locations as the System Engineering Team Manager. Assure that the respective Product Competence, Methods, Tools & Processes are in accordance to the common Body & Security strategy. Support / implement regional System / Application Engineering design processes and support of global development. Core Responsibilities: * Manage regional product development for Systems / Application Engineering activities. * Systems Engineering Team Management tasks - employee performance management, salary planning, career development, R&D Budget (regional level) * Manage workload between locations and projects * Manage Functional Safety activities * Harmonization / Standardization of methods, processes and tools Additional Responsibilities: * Ensure Requirement Management discipline is demonstrated within groupBasic Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering * Minimum of 10 years of automotive development experience * Minimum of 5-7 years of Leadership/Supervisory Experience Preferred Qualifications: * Familiarity with GM, Chrysler and/or Ford development methods preferredReady to drive with Continental?
