Sales Representative Job DescriptionPurpose: To generate sales revenue and maximize profitability for the client's branch office(s) through the effective sales activity and successful management of company relationships and resources. Reports to: Branch ManagerResponsibilities:Generate field cold calls and appointments with prospective clients.Use the "Funnel" to manage time and territory.Qualify leads and follow-up on telemarketing calls.Perform site evaluations before orders are filled.Participate in client promotions, lunches, and other methods of generating long-term good will.Obtain new customer information, including customer agreement, credit application, site evaluation, etc.Document all sales activities in the database.Work closely with collections representatives and branch manager on collections and past due accounts. Keep billing current.Generate leads through use of prospecting, networking, telemarketing, cold calling, newspaper leads, and other tools.Establish and review weekly, quarterly and annual sales goals with sales manager or branch manager.Develop new business through effective sales activities.Maintain existing accounts by providing excellent customer service.Expectations:Productivity: All sales representatives are expected to reach and exceed client's minimum requirements for gross margin and account activity.Work Habits: All sales staff is expected to arrive to work on time and work over-time when necessary. Organize daily activities in order to maximize time and efficiency to produce superior results.
