Duties would include:DutiesDetermine billing method by referencing and interpreting multiple internal sourcesCan require analysis and correction of data elements in preparation for billingGenerate billing in determined format. Billing formats include PDF invoices, spreadsheets, HCFA 1500 forms, and electronic claimsDistribute billing by email, electronically, or via mailBilling to be performed accurately and timelyRespond to billing-related emails in a timely mannerAble to assist in multiple areas including billing, AP, AR, payment posting, collections, and some purchasing Qualifications Bachelors or Associates degree in accounting, finance, health information, or business administration preferredMin of 1-2 years relevant work experience (experience in accounting or medical billing preferred)Experience with Netsuite is a plusAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (familiarity of vlookup functions and pivot tables a plus)Solid analytical and problem solving skillsMust be detail oriented and thoroughCapable of working independently with minimal supervisionAble to work overtime during peak periods About Stephen James Associates:Stephen James Associates specializes in the recruitment of staff through managerial level talent in the areas of accounting and finance.
