Madonna Place is a leader in providing services to fathers.  Our Fatherhood Initiative Program helps fathers break down any barriers which keep them from being fully responsible and involved positively in their children's lives. In addition we have two home visiting programs that provide direct services to expectant and new fathers in their homes. A current opening is in one of these model and well-known prevention and early intervention programs. We have 1 full-time 35 hour/week position available as a case manager/fathering home visitor in our Nurturing Families/Families First Program, which is part of the statewide Nurturing Families Network, also part of the Office of Early Childhood.   The individual we will hire will be an experienced human service professional who is also a role model for fathering and provides individual case management services to fathers (and family members), which includes assessment, completion of a case plan, ongoing contact, referrals and intensive teaching of child development and parenting using the Parents as Teachers and other curriculum . This unique opportunity will also include  facilitation of education groups using specialized fatherhood curriculum  as well as community outreach. Some occasional client transport is required.
