Currently, we are looking to hire a bright Electrical Controls & Instrumentation Designer with 3-10 years experience developing detailed piping and instrument diagrams (P&ID). We look for talented Designers with CADWorx experience and the attention to detail. We have an outstanding group of talented Designers and are currently looking to expand our department for one more of the same. We look for team players that can work on tight deadlines, and are quality driven.What You Will Be DoingYour role will be to work multiple projects including conceptual design, detailed design, equipment fabrication, and testing. You will review the project contracts, proposals, specifications, preliminary drawings, and clarifications to determine the intended scope, technical feasibility, and compliance of technical objectives for the projects. Tasks include component selections and implementations, communications and documentations, reviews of electrical design hours budgeted by sales, design a control system that functions according to the scope of the project, develop electrical type drawings required for customer approval and fabrication of the project including but not limited to: Instrument Hook-Up Details, Electrical Panel Drawings and BOM with Schematics, Heat Trace Details, Conduit/Cable Layouts, Logic Diagrams. Assist CE&I Engineer in equipment testing. If you feel you have what it takes, then you will fit in nicely with us!
