JOB PURPOSEThe Customer Analytics Manager is responsible for creating and analyzing supply chain metrics, and administering and maintaining quality program requirements for their clients. Metrics must be communicated in such a way as to minimize complexity and provide key observations and conclusions for consumption by external customers, service providers, and internal management functionsOBJECTIVESA general summary of the major activities and responsibilities (which represents the key tasks) of the jobholder.(A sample of day-to-day actions.)• Produce, analyze, and present monthly logistics and supply chain metrics measuring operational and financial performance against customer specific objectives• Produce monthly internal metrics to measure performance against contractual deliverables and to measure internal operational performance, identify trends and issues, and to measure internal efficiency• Produce monthly Service Provider Scorecards to measure various 3rd party service providers• The metrics comprise multiple functional areas including order management, warehouse, transportation, and inventory• The metrics will cover multiple supply chain flows including inbound supply, outbound fulfillment, last mile delivery, spare parts and reverse logistics• Identify and coordinate root cause analysis for operational or financial issues with internal and external teams• Support Business Management by producing and presenting metrics, analysis and other content as required for Monthly Business Reviews with Customer(s)• Ensure effective and efficient reporting process through a thorough understanding of business processes, systems and internal and external requirements• Identify process improvements and partner with internal / external groups to deliver sustainable cost reductions and/or service improvements• Assess organizational needs for data & reporting and increase usage of appropriate technologies for data analytics in order to produce consistent metrics. Optimize opportunities for automation and enhance department effectiveness.• Develop and promote data quality awareness and implement continuous improvement through use of data discovery, profiling tools and implementation of data controls.EXPERIENCEA general summary of the major skill set of the jobholder.• Proven ability of advanced analytics, reporting, and Business Intelligence.• Broad understanding of global logistics and supply chain processes. Knowledge of 4PL business (Warehousing, Transportation, Inventory, Brokerage, Carrier Network, etc.)• Ability to lead, make decisions, and drive results that positively impact productivity, efficiency, overall customer service levels, and enhance company profitability• Proven ability to work with cross functional teams both internally and within the Customer organizations up to senior levels of management• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from the leadership team and business customers at all levels.• Ability to influence decision makers and drive consensus amongst key stakeholders in order to provide optimal supply chain metrics to the customers• Ability to be a strong advocate for process and technology improvements and ensure the application of measurements to reflect baseline improvements• Passion for change and continuous improvement and the ability to effectively lead/drive change.JOBHOLDER REQUIREMENTSBS in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain fieldAdvanced degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in Analytics and Supply Chain related fieldAdvanced User of Microsoft Office – specifically, Excel (incl. Macros), Access, PowerPoint, and VisioHigh level of proficiency with Business ObjectsExtensive communication & presentation skillsAdvanced analytical/problem solving skillsAbility to work independently and lead others during projectsAbility to prioritize and multi-task to meet schedules and deadlines
