GENERAL FUNCTION: * Coordinates programs, consisting of multiple projects, of varying sizes.* Accountable to executive sponsors for schedule, budget, and quality of all program elements.* Leads high-level sessions for program plan and schedule development. * Lead initiatives that generally require a more complex structure because they involve fundamental business changes.* Reviews/approves program/project plans according to program strategy and program plan and schedule. * Acts as the liaison to executive sponsors and program steering committee and conducts periodic briefings/status updates. * Consistently mitigates program risks and optimizes resources and program effectiveness.* Demonstrates best practices * Delivery commitments are met consistently and aligned with targeted program outcomes* Relationships within project teams, and with cross-functional teams are highly engaged and collaborative. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Sr. Program Manager will support large scale programs which have an enterprise wide scope. The position will support many project teams and be able to clearly communicate project objectives and report on project progress at all levels of the business. Works on programs of moderate to broad scope involving multiple teams where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Limited direction required. Sound knowledge of enterprise application integration techniques and design patterns. Collaborates with senior leadership to ensure IT strategic investment aligns with business strategy and drives operating results. Works on complex, broad reaching programs where analysis of data requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Self-management expected. Normally receives little instruction on work assignments. Works both independently and collaboratively with many project teams and other parties. Must be able to influence stakeholders. Extensive program management experience. Demonstrated ability to manage governance, budgets, infrastructure and resources. Experience leading change, influencing and managing in a matrix environment. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED: 10-15 years of experience and BA/BS Degree. MBA Degree preferred. WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature and the like. Extended viewing of computer screen.
