Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with fleet policies and procedures.Work with each market Q&S Manager to ensure that fleet vehicles have the proper safety equipment, i.e., fire extinguishers, first aid kits, safety cones and vehicle accident packets.Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer complaints to the proper market (VP/GM).Process approved Rental Requests.  Conduct new employee training sessions on vehicle assignment, i.e., fleet policy.  Promote fleet safety activities by attending company safety meetings with Quality and Safety management to assure fleet safety is completed.   Maintain database of asset details, vehicle identification, history, availability and all other pertinent information. Perform periodic vehicle inventory to maintain accuracy.  Collect and keep a file of each drivers signed fleet policy & procedure acknowledgments.Ensure completion of safety inspections, emissions & odometer verifications, vehicle licensing & registration renewals, mechanical checks and recalls in order to comply with the legal requirements within each state.
