Ref ID:04530-9754238Classification:Payroll ProcessorCompensation:DOEPayroll Specialist Role Description: My client, a growing government contractor/technology company, is seeking a sharp and dynamic Payroll Specialist to join their accounting team, with potential to be promoted to payroll manager within the next couple of years. The Payroll Specialist selected for this role will be responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll for 350+ employees in ADP. Additional duties of the Payroll Specialist will include making the required payroll entries to the general ledger, assisting on the HR side of the house (Benefits, entering employee adjustments and changes, assisting with new employee setup, open enrollment, etc.), assisting with processing SUTA and state withholding taxes and other duties as assigned. Experience in accounts payable is also a plus. The candidate selected for this role should at least have had some exposure to ADP, or experience processing payroll in an alternative payroll system for 100+ employees bi-weekly. Software is not required, although experience working in ADP and Deltek Costpoint is a plus.
