General Summary The HR Representative partners with plant management to align business objectives with employees and management in designated business unit and administrates the human resource functions including recruitment, training, benefits, employee relations, communication, compensation, incentive programs, safety and ensures federal, state, local and company policies and procedures compliance.  .  In the absence of the Human Resource Manager the HR representative will assume the manager’s responsibility.  Essential Functions Counsel management team and employees on employee relations issues Supports plant management in business plan in accordance with company and departmental values by developing and recommending solutions regarding HR-related issues Recruits and interviews permanent and temporary candidates Conducts new hire orientation Serves as benefits point of contact for all plant employees, including plan change communication, enrollment, etc. Maintains HRIS and personnel records accurately Processes payroll and maintains local KRONOS system & payroll records Processes and coordinates all personnel actions Investigates employee complaints Recommend and approve all disciplinary action, including separations Conducts training regarding compliance issues, skills development, etc Coordinates and implements Safety programs Participates in plant committees to ensure success of organization Completes reports such as Headcount, monthly Safety reports, and others as required Develops local wage scales in accordance with Compensation policies and philosophy Manages, implements, and enforces AAP plans, and other HR-related programs Stays informed of industry and business trends, to maximize efficiencies and continuously learn and improve our business Other duties as assigned
