Job title: Senior User Experience DesignerLocation: Irvine, CADuration: Direct HirePay Range: up to $100k a yearSuccessful candidate will produce use cases, wireframes, site maps and prototypes to effectively communicate both high-level design strategies and detailed user interactions. You need to be a critical thinker with a good design sense, a strong technical background, and an eye for making things better.Requirements: Minimum of 5 years relevant design experience on consumer-facing digital products. A current online portfolio that demonstrates your skill range and capabilities. A BA/BS in Design (or related field) a plus. A strong ability to clearly convey UX concepts to both management and team members. A detailed understanding of digital design, user experience and information architecture. An interested in emerging technologies and design aesthetics. Knowledge and experience with rapid prototyping. Outstanding visual design skills with a strong sense of layout, color, and typography with a deep appreciation for simple, sleek, and usable designs. An understanding of interaction design principles as they relate to the visual design. An understanding of using analytics and user research data to help inform and guide design decisions. The ability to articulate how and why effective designs help achieve business goals. The experience of working on high-traffic, deep-content sites that are CMS driven. If you have expert skills in Adobe CS - especially Photoshop, Illustrator and Fireworks as well as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Then this job is for you.
