Help Desk Analyst / Jr. System Admin in NYC, NY A International Insurance Broker company located in NYC, NY is looking for a Help Desk Analyst / Jr. System Administrator to join their team.  This Help Desk Analyst / Jr. System Administrator is responsible for providing support across the companies 4 locations in a Windows / VMware environment.  An ideal candidate will have a strong mix of technical ability, well-spoken and has exceptional customer service skills.  This company is continuing to evolve and grow their department, and views this position as essential to that forward momentum. Specific duties and responsibilities of the Desktop Support Lead Analyst job include:•         Respond to requests for technical assistance both through email and phone correct and polite, using language the user can understand•         In-depth knowledge to diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues •         Setup  Multimedia Conferences  •         Knowledge of Active Directory creating and maintenance •         Set up new users hardware both PC and Laptops with imaging •         Highly organize with keeping up the Help Desk ticketing system for updating, escalating and closing incoming tickets  •         Set up new users hardware both PC and Laptops with imaging Required Experience for this job:•         Bachelor’s Degree or Trade School•         5+ years of technical support in a Windows/Microsoft environment•         VMware experience and basic knowledge of SAN•         Kaseya operation and procedures•         Supporting mobile devices: iPhone, Android, Blackberry and iPads•         Windows 7, MS Office Products, Citrix•         Active Directory, GPO, Print Server,  SQL, Exchange, eFax, BES•         Network troubleshooting (DHCP, Connectivity, DNS, etc.) This Help Desk Analyst / Jr. System Administrator job will not last long.  Our client has an aggressive timeline and is looking to hire immediately for this position.
