Human Resources Generalist       Toho Water Authority is accepting applications for the position of Human Resource Generalist.  Under the general supervision of the Human Resources Director, the HR Generalist provides a wide variety of both complex and routine administrative services. The HR Generalist supports the effective management of the hiring and onboarding process; administers and maintains HR databases, and supports the administration of employee benefit plans including health, wellness, and retirement plans. The HR Generalist provides customer service to both internal and external customers.         Actively manages hiring and onboarding process; Resolves issues regarding status of performance reviews, employee benefits, application process, employment policies, and other employment related procedures; Stays abreast with state and federal labor laws and supports department and organization to maintain compliance with such laws;   Maintains a current knowledge and understanding of TWA policies and procedures to respond to employee inquiries and address implementation issues; Conducts special research assignments, creates reports, analyzes data and prepares conclusions and recommendations for consideration by management or special committees; Actively involved in employee surveys, analytics and focus groups; Completes special projects by clarifying project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions. Maintains employee performance system by creating employee profiles, updating profiles, supporting staff with inquiries; Supports overall administrative functions, including filing, scanning, faxing, preparing correspondences, and assisting internal and external customers;   Provides exceptional customer service (internal and external) with regard to day-to-day issues and inquiries regarding Toho programs, policies and procedures.   Assists in identifying employee needs, responding to employee complaints, and assisting management in conflict resolution issues; and    Other essential duties, as assigned.
