IT Business Analyst - MM/PP Dematic has an immediate need at our Grand Rapids, MI headquarters for a SAP Busniess Analyst - MM/PP module. The successful candidate must have a minimum of five years working as a Business Analyst in a corporate function on the MM/PP module. Duties: SAP Functional Analyst responsible for Materials Management, and Production Planning. Analyzes and evaluates SAP system processes and user needs. Researches, develops, and proposes both short and long term solutions to SAP system requirements. Supports departmental functions/usage of SAP MM and PP modules; evaluates system requirements and implements solutions; configures, modifies, and coordinates testing of released objects. Creates and documents strategies; and develops, coordinates and executes standards, policies, methods and procedures for SAP business processes. Consults with Business process owners to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements and levels of system access. Configuration of the SAP system for MM and PP modules. Monitoring and resolving incidents within the production system. Creating and updating plants and storage locations used for material transactions. Assisting users with material transactions in inventory management and warehouse management. Keeping development specifications updated and testing scripts current. Working with Business Process Owners to translate business requirements into functional solutions. Participate in local or global development projects as appropriate.
