FAILURE TO COMPLETE THE ASSESSMENT WILL BE CONSIDERED AS AN IMCOMPLETE APPLICATION  JOB SUMMARY:  The Imaging Support Clerk ensures the timely digital recording of all patient procedures and images and the subsequent transfer of electronic information to all medical areas.  Understands, utilizes and troubleshoots a network of computerized systems for processing information and for archiving and retrieving image studies.  Comprehends a multitude of workflows related to the use of Radiology images throughout a broad customer base internally and externally to the institution.  Rotates work assignments and location within the department, with varying degrees of complexity, in a multi-site operation.  Performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork, collaboration, honesty, respect, and confidentiality in order to reflect the institution's mission and philosophy.  Confirms electronic delivery of patient images with all physicians' offices, Emergency Room, Surgery, and ICU's order to ensure no delay or cancellation of patient appointments.  Is responsible for the preparation of all hard-copy x-ray films throughout the institution. PRIMARY JOB DUTIES: •        Answer rollover calls from Physician's line, relay messages or perform outgoing calls to   referring physicians when requested. •        Import outside disc into hospital PACS system •        Sort outgoing mail to Physician's office in a timely manner. •        Request/Assist in retrieving outside exams for imaging comparison. •        Scan Imaging information into Chartmax.
