Inventory Manager, Inventory Supervisor - Huge manufacturing company in Portland seeks an Inventory Manager to oversee a small group of up to five employees and manage all aspects of the facility’s inventory. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position where you will earn a competitive salary, based on your experience. Your responsibilities will include: Making sure inventory counts are enough to fill current and future orders. Making decisions, on an ongoing basis, which will affect inventory positions as they relate to projections, budgets, and inventory turns. Considering the size and cost of products when ordering inventory quantities. Considering quotas, vendor performance issues, and transportation costs when determining how to flow product into the warehouse. Closely monitoring product and inventory costs to determine which orders should be reduced or cancelled. Maintaining the inventory system data. Developing and distributing reports on a continual basis.
