Manager of Accounts Receivable (Contract to Perm)

Vaco Atlanta is working with a fast growing specialty manufacturer located in Cumming, GA to find a (Contract to Perm) Manager of Accounts Receivable. This position doesn't require a degree but it does require 10+ years of progressive A/R experience including but not limited to the areas of billing, collections, cash application, remittance processing etc. This is a "hands on" Manager position with no direct reports encompassing the following:Responsibilities* Monitor receivables and collections and provide updates of receivables and provide appropriate reporting procedures* Oversee the resolution of issues with client's customer base* Develop and implement Best Practices/Policies and Procedures* Participate and manage all aspects of the Collections/AR processes as follows:BillingCash ApplicationCreditsElectronic Funds TransfersAging receivablesAppealsRespond to all vendor inquiries Assist Management with special projects as needed.Qualifications:* 10+ years accounts receivable/collections experience* Must have experience managing process changes* Demonstrated strong account and analytical/problem solving skills* Must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage projects that are complex in nature where professional judgment is required in solving problems and making recommendations* Strong verbal and written communication skills* Extensive experience in collections/AR * Experienced with general accounting procedures * Preference for AR experience in SAP or other large ERP system
