Worker Time Type Full time Worker Sub-Type Regular Job Description POSITION PURPOSE:This position is responsible for the quality control and the overall execution of the field equipment service team. The National Quality Control Manager successfully leads and manages field execution and ensures customer satisfaction with ISB, Merchandisers and Easy Ice equipment. This position works very closely with all Field Equipment Service Managers and Market Managers.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Drives FES Kaizen sustainability by reviewing DVM boards and identifying and discussing statuses and trends with managers. Ensures data is collected and tracked, and that corrective measures are successfully implemented.2. Observes field personnel onsite to verify SOP and EPA compliance, evaluate work, and coach as needed. Identifies staffing plan issues and provides report.3. Oversees and manages problematic markets and turns them around. Conducts root cause analyses, develops recovery plans and provides oversight during recovery. 4. Reviews and inspects vehicles and tools according to 5S guidelines. Identifies issues and opportunities to improve overall FEST and RM performance.5. Audits equipment in refurb centers to ensure appropriate storage is in compliance (e.g. covered/protected from elements).6. Maximizes equipment flow through the refurb centers to help reduce and manage capital expenditures. Confirms that equipment in the yard is organized in an orderly manner, fixed asset data for the equipment is correct, and proactively reports equipment hoarding.7. Audits quality of refurb center output and work processes to ensure the centers are producing high quality product with minimal shipping damage.8. Audits parts spend data and inventories while at locations. Reviews recent orders and works directly with each refurb Lead Technician to verify that parts purchases are reasonable and warranted. Manages and works with locations when overbuying is identified.9. Assists as needed with large installations to help coordinate the work of refurb centers, contractors, and customers. Fills in directly as needed, to include completing site surveys when and where needed.10. Assist and participate in creating training programs for the Reddy Ice Academy.11. Assumes other duties and responsibilities required or assigned by management.12. Adhering to the Code of Business Ethics is essential. Minimum 3 years' financial analyst or accounting experience. Proven track record of project management experience. Minimum 3 years of prior supervisory experience or vendor management experience. Exceptionally strong management and organizational skills. Advanced Excel skills required.WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to climb ladders and work with light duty tools. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. Travel is required up to 100% of the time. Location City:DallasState:Texas
