Description: An entry level engineer in a propulsion system testing laboratory. Work will be focused on overall system design, equipment selection (sensors, actuators, etc.), set-up and troubleshooting. Uses broad technical knowledge combined with creative thinking to relate work to technical and business context. Uses independent judgment and may receive guidance from senior engineers or supervisors.   Qualifications: • Ability to communicate information to internal stakeholders • Ability to quickly find common ground with peers and solve problems for the good of the project. • High level of interpersonal skills to work independently and effectively with others • May interact with senior internal and may often deal with external personnel. • Ability to balance work effectively on multiple projects • Effectively deals with ambiguity and effectively copes with change • Works closely with multi-disciplined engineering teams to understand functional requirements and implement appropriate solutions • Complies with best practices, lessons learned and safe operating practices • Makes decisions based on general practices and procedures • Stays abreast of new technology, competitive products and latest techniques • Defines, specifies and balances system requirements • Performs design analysis • Implements engineering changes as required
