Overview: Small, fast growing, pre-engineered steel building company in Cass County is looking to add a full time Production Detailer/Scheduler position. We are a 30 year old company with production processes that include shearing, stamping, welding, punching, painting and roll forming. We ship our buildings throughout the United States. This position will be responsible for drawing, detailing, and preparing material lists for steel building as well as scheduling building deliveries with our customers. Organization skills and accuracy in detailing are extremely important Description: Position will interface with Sales department to verify building requirements, Professional Engineering for buildings seals, Factory foreman to verify production capabilities and Scheduling for ordering and shipping. In addition this position will provide support to Scheduling which includes confirming orders with customers, scheduling deliveries, ordering materials and arranging transportation. Position reports to the Manager of Detailing and Scheduling. Qualifications: Applicant must be knowledgeable in AutoCAD software and have good Microsoft Office skills. AutoCAD/Drafting certification or equivalent experience is required. Accuracy in detailing and quantity take-offs is extremely important. Experience in Logistics, scheduling, or in a steel fabrication manufacturing facility would be beneficial. Applicant must have good communication skills and a good attendance and punctuality record.
