PROGRAM/ACTIVITY COORDINATOR - Independent Living Residents The Forum at Knightsbridge, a full service, upscale senior living community, providing independent & assisted living, skilled nursing & rehabilitation, & Alzheimer's care, is accepting applications for a person to coordinate programs, social events and activities for our Independent Living residents. Successful candidate must be energetic, have the ability to plan, organize, and coordinate social events, programs and activities that promote participation and enthusiasm among our residents. A minimum two year’s experience, preferably working with a senior population, is required and an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Human Services is preferred. Successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks/responsibilities, work independently, and complete projects and duties within the allotted time. Effective time management skills are imperative. Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English both orally and in writing with all staff, residents and visitors. Successful candidate must be able to carry out the essential functions of this position and have sufficient mobility and strength to move freely through the community and assist residents while involved in activities and transporting our residents. Weekend and evening hours are required as needed. A valid state driver’s license with minimal infractions/points is required as the program coordinator will be responsible to drive community vehicles when needed. Candidate will perform all duties/functions of the position and other duties as assigned by management following all safety procedures as outlined by the facility.
