RN Visiting Nurse    The RN Visiting Nurse is a pivotal position at Health Essentials, responsible for providing compassionate direct patient care, under general supervision.  The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years RN experience in Home Health, Hospice, or SNF, and demonstrate strong organizational skills in managing care treatment plans to a variety of patients at multiple locations.  Excellent communication skills will enable you to work collaboratively with the members of the care team; and your strong nursing skills and compassionate approach will help to meet positive patient care outcomes at a variety of locations.  Current, unrestricted California RN License, and reliable transportation are required.   Positions are available Full Time, Part Time, Weekends, on after hours shifts in Montebello, Whittier, Monterey Park, El Monte and Walnut. Minimum Qualifications •          1-2 years nursing experience, Hospice, SNF or Home Health experience is preferred. •          Graduate of an accredited RN program. •          Current unrestricted RN License. •          Current BLS or ACLS. •          Valid unrestricted CA Driver License, proof of auto insurance, and reliable transportation. •          Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills. •          Proven ability to comply with accepted professional standards and practice. •          Prolonged or considerable walking or standing.  Able to lift position and/or transfer patients Able to lift supplies and equipment.  Considerable reaching, stooping bending, kneeling and/or crouching.  Visual acuity and hearing to perform required nursing skills.
