Consistency across our centers, regardless of geography, is at the core of our operating philosophy.  Position Purpose:  The Security Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the safety of personnel, security of material and information, serve as training officer to new security staff, enforce badging procedures and assist Security Manager. Reports to: Security Manager   FSLA Status: Non-exempt Job Responsibilities: Monitors and evaluates unit performance on key security issues and programs, recommends corrective action programs. Under supervision of Site Security Manager, administer facility security Management plan and implement facility controls in place to secure and prevent access to prohibited areas. Maintains knowledge of complex industry trends, current security issues and security technology.  Update Security Manager on risk and threat that could impact company business. Provides advice and counsel to Security Manager on the expenditures of resources for protection of company assets where compromise or loss could seriously affect company business. Provides leadership, advice and counsel to all security staff in achieving current and long range program objectives. Serves as staff support to security officers. Create and maintain security team’s schedule and ensure coverage of all shifts. Responsible for approving time and attendance for security team. Assists in conducting investigations of threats, misappropriation and/or loss of assets. Assumes other responsibilities as assigned.
