Chart your career path with us and ride the wave of the future!BASIC ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT:Effectively manages strategic sourcing activities, leads Supply Chain projects and VA/VE projects for assigned commodities. Identifies and executes projects with the objective of supply base optimization, SKU reduction, quality improvement, improved inventory turns, reduced production shortages, lead time reduction and working capital improvement across the Brunswick Boat Group business units.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:•Commodity strategy development and execution•Supply chain optimization•Inflation management and reporting•Cost modeling•Supplier selection•Contract negotiation and management•Develop and manage long term supplier relationships that will provide Brunswick Boat Group with a competitive advantage•Support major quality spill problem resolution•Identify, lead and execute VA/VE projects•Identify, lead and execute supply chain projects resulting in best total cost•Lead make verses buy decisions•Identify and present viable new technology/innovative products to design and engineering•Assist in establishing departmental goals.•Other duties as assigned.
